Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Tastebuds for using the app. By creating an account or using Tastebuds you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Who can use Tastebuds
You must be at least 13 years old. Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to Tastebuds, such as your ratings, bio, username and profile picture. You give us permission to store it and show it to other people according to your privacy settings, so that the app can work.
You promise that you have the right to share what you add, and that it follows these terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tastebuds to harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone; to post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content; to spam; or to share anything you don't have the right to share. Profile pictures must be appropriate for a general audience.
Don't try to access other people's accounts or data, scrape or copy the app's data, interfere with how it works, or use bots or automated tools.
Other users and reporting
You can block anyone at any time. If you see content or behaviour that breaks these terms, tell us through 'Help & feedback' in Settings, and we'll review it promptly. We may remove content or suspend or end accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.
Movie and TV information
Movie and TV information and images come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Streaming availability data is provided by JustWatch through TMDB. We try to keep it accurate, but we can't promise it is correct or up to date.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we'll send them for things like friend requests, likes and activity. You can change which ones you get in Settings or in your phone's settings.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings with 'Delete account'. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the app.
Disclaimers and limits
Tastebuds is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without promises that it will always work or be free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses, or for content posted by users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app about significant changes. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
